This document will walk you through how to setup/install Ricoh printers on a Windows machine within any BHHS office.
1) Check if computer is connected to 'bhhswireless' Network
2) Install driver
For this step, review the necessary driver for your Ricoh machine in the Excel document 'BHHSNEP Ricoh Printer Project.'
(Ex. for Printer Model 'IMC4500' you would Google search "IM C4500 driver" and download the driver directly from Ricoh's website (support.ricoh.com) > Download 'PCL 6 Driver'
3) Open and unzip the downloaded driver file
4) Control Panel > Devices and printers > Add printer > The printer I want isn't listed [Note: if the desired printer is already listed select it and install it and the process is complete] > Add printer using TCP/IP address or hostname > Change Device type to: TCP/IP Device > Enter IP address (from Excel document) > Deselect 'Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use' > Have Disk > Browse > You will see this 'Locate File' screen:
5) From this screen, click the 'Up One Level' icon (green arrow) until you see this screen and select (double-click) the 'temp' folder:
6) On the next screen, select folder 'z94954L18' (will vary in name if multiple drivers downloaded, but will always begin with a "z"):
7) From there, double click/select 'disk1' > 'oemsetup' > 'Ok'
8) Under 'Manufacturer' on the left click Ricoh and on the right, under 'Printers', click the printer you are trying to add (double check Printer Model) > 'Next'
9) Name the printer after the Printer Name found in the Excel document > 'Next' > the printer should begin installation
Note: If 'Printer Sharing' screen appears select 'Do not share this printer'
10) Complete!
11) Repeat these steps for each printer in the office
